At first sight the English language was a peace of cake for me. It quickly came into light that I was really good in it. But one day I found out which way the wind was blowing. My best friend, Tomek, was really jealous because of my skills and it drove me up the wall. It wasn’t long ago when he got on my nerves because of being green with envy when I had got better note than him from a really important English test. Out of the blue he started making a monkey out of me. He did it because he was in the background of mine. I took a rain check on this friendship and I realised that it was a bit thick. I didnt want him to be my friend any longer.

He always wanted to impress me by hook or by crook. Sometimes he boiled with anger when he knew that I went out with somebody else.
